New Study Links Ultra-Processed Foods to Cognitive Decline

A large-scale study published in The Lancet following 180,000 participants over 12 years found a significant association between high consumption of ultra-processed foods and accelerated cognitive decline. Participants consuming more than 20% of their calories from ultra-processed sources showed measurably faster deterioration in memory and executive function.
